I lost my mom to lung cancer in Dec. of 2012 and I miss her very much. She was my inspiration and through her I learned to be the best version of myself. Her dedication, loving heart, independence, and above all her faith are some of the qualities that made her so special.
Lung cancer that takes more lives and yet receives the least research funding of all cancers. I want to be a part of ending the stigma that only smoking causes lung cancer. My mom never smoked. Along with my amazing friend Kristy, we hope to educate people that anyone can get lung cancer.
The statistics are REAL! Over 400 people die daily from lung cancer.
This year, for the first time ever, two of the leading lung cancer organizations have joined forces to create one of the largest run/walk events for lung cancer in Texas…because together we are stronger.
Join the GO2 Foundation for Lung Cancer on Saturday, November 2, 2019 at the Water Works at Buffalo Bayou Park.
Don’t miss this day of family fun as we walk/run together to raise awareness and funds in our fight against lung cancer. #LungLoveCure19 #BeatLungCancerJanie
