Please help me aid those stricken with lung cancer. I am raising money for the GO2 Foundation For Lung Cancer and am asking you to make a contribution. I am doing this for those who are now battling lung cancer, in memory of my friends and family who have passed away from lung cancer, and to help find a cure before others become afflicted with this terrible disease. The statistics are staggering and need to be reversed. Lung cancer is the number one cancer killer in the world. Moreover, over 70% of those diagnosed with lung cancer never smoked or quit smoking decades before.
On August 22, 2019, Ride Hard Breathe Easy will set out to ride 1800 miles to raise money and awareness. It's an ambitious goal...for a very worthy cause. The route will go from outside Philadelphia, through New Jersey, Upstate New York, Cleveland, Columbus, OH, Maryland and finish on September 8 in Elkins Park, PA. This year, survivor Terri Ann DiJulio and lung cancer surgeon, Dr. Charles Bakhos, will join the ride. I will also join the ride for multiple days. We ask that you support these efforts by making a contribution.
Past rides include a cross-country ride by John Matthews, who founded RHBE in memory of his mother. Watch the "Why I Ride" video below and you will understand the motivation. John will be leading this year's ride.
Please also share this page with your family and friends. Every dollar raised will help with early detection, to support local patients and to end the stigma of lung cancer.
Together, we can make a difference!
